We've listed starting pricing information on our site to help you envision just how much further your floral budget can go when renting your flowers through us. And, to simplify the process and minimize the stress behind planning, we've designed pre-fixed packages that are sure to meet a variety of needs.

We offer a variety of tiered service packages to suit your needs, from intimate gatherings to larger events. Each package includes delivery and setup within our service area, ensuring a stress-free experience.

 

You'll have us every step of the way and we'll bring expertly created designs that are professionally installed on-site on the day of your event. You'll also have one less thing to worry about at the end of the evening, as we'll be back to haul it all away.

  • How far in advance should I book my floral rentals?
    We recommend booking your floral rentals at least 6-12 months in advance, especially for larger events. This allows us to secure the materials to fully customize your designs and ensure availability on your preferred date. We do require a minimum lead time of 4 months for our bespoke services. If you're planning a wedding or event during peak season (spring or fall), we suggest reaching out even earlier to secure your spot.
  • Can I see the items in person before booking?
    Since all of our designs are custom-built, we’re unable to offer full pieces for preview before booking. Once you’ve booked, we can create a small mockup arrangement for your approval. We strive to provide detailed photos, and additional angles on our website and Instagram (@borrowedandblum) to give you a clear vision of our work. As a newer company, we're also hoping that our happy clients will share their event photos with us, allowing us to showcase more real-life examples of our designs.
  • Do you really design and build everything in-house?
    Yes! Every single piece we offer is designed and custom made by our talented team to suit their intended spaces. Finishing touches are installed on-site on the day of your event by our setup team. We believe in creating pieces that are unique to each client and event, which is why we don’t offer pre-made designs or anything found on mass-market. This gives you a customized, one-of-a-kind experience for your event. We pride ourselves on the attention to detail we put into each and every design.
  • How does renting work?
    Renting with us is simple! Just choose from one of our flexible packages, or send us a custom request if you have something unique in mind. Once you sign the rental agreement and pay the retainer, we’ll secure your date on our calendar and start planning on your custom design. We’ll take care of the details—so you can focus on your big day!
  • How do payments work?
    We want to make payments easy and stress-free! You can securely pay online with all major credit cards, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. A 50% retainer is required to lock in your event date, and the remaining balance can be paid in installments. We’ll set up a payment plan if you prefer, with the final balance due 30 days before your event.
  • What is your service area for deliveries?
    We deliver up to 45 miles from our Durham design studio (27703), which includes a round-trip of no more than 90 miles. Deliveries within 15 miles of our studio are included in your package. For locations further than 15 miles, additional fees will apply, based on mileage and time needed for setup. We’re happy to accommodate venues outside of our regular service area on a case-by-case basis, but additional travel and lodging expenses may apply.
  • What is meant by "price is for one setup/location only"?
    This means the rental price covers one setup at one location. If you need us to move an item (e.g., from the ceremony to the reception or between different venues), additional fees will apply. Our pieces are delicate, and we want to ensure they are handled properly. In certain cases, we may allow professional event staff (with written permission) to move an item, but it depends on the piece and the circumstances.
  • What is the distance covered when you say "delivery is included" and what are the additional fees?
    We offer free round-trip delivery within a 15-mile radius of our Durham design studio (27703), as long as the pickup is scheduled before 9:00 PM. For pickups scheduled after 9:00 PM, additional fees will apply to cover the extra time needed for our team. Here’s the breakdown: After 9 PM: Additional charge of $100 After 10 PM: Additional charge of $200 After 11 PM: Additional charge of $300 After 12 AM (midnight): Additional charge of $400 We are happy to coordinate with your venue to arrange a next-day pickup, if possible, to help avoid these additional fees. This will depend on factors such as the venue’s policies, where and how our rentals will be stored overnight, whether any of the materials are needed for our next design, and if we can accommodate the pickup in our schedule. If your venue is beyond the 15-mile radius, we charge $3.00 per mile for the round trip (delivery and pickup), up to a total of 90 miles. For larger events that require more hands-on attention, additional hourly rates for our team may also apply. We’ll always give you a clear estimate up front! If you're unsure whether your venue qualifies for free delivery or would be within our service area, feel free to reach out with your venue address by email, and we'll be happy to confirm.
  • Could my bridal bouquet (or anything else) be made completely with fresh flowers?
    Our specialty is faux florals, and we love offering a more sustainable option that doesn’t compromise on beauty. However, we can either incorporate fresh florals into our designs for pieces like bud vases and centerpieces, or design completely using fresh blooms. Pricing of fresh florals will be quoted based on your specific requests. Please note that, since fresh flowers are subject to seasonality, we cannot guarantee exact colors or varieties.
  • Can I reserve my personal flowers or centerpieces without booking a package?
    Personal flowers and centerpieces are available as add-ons to our full-service packages. These items aren’t available for separate rental, but we’re happy to include them in your overall design package. We do not offer shipping, and we can’t manage delivery or pickup for smaller orders, but we’ll make sure everything looks perfect on the day of if you opt for booking one of our packages!
  • I'm working with a florist already, can I have them add flowers to the items I rent?
    We’re all about collaboration and love working alongside your florist to create the perfect atmosphere for your event. However, we don’t allow modifications to our designs by outside vendors. Only our team can make changes to our pieces to ensure everything is handled with care. That said, we’re more than happy to integrate fresh florals into your design to match your vision.
  • What if my florist has an exclusivity clause?
    We understand that exclusivity clauses are common in the wedding industry, and we’ve worked with many florists who have these agreements in place. If your florist has an exclusivity clause, we can still offer our faux floral installations as rentals, which typically won’t conflict with your florist’s contract. We'd like it if we were tagged as 'floral rental provider' or 'faux floral rentals' on your vendor lists! We love collaborating with florists to make your event come to life! Many florists don’t offer large installations like we do, as they’re time-consuming and require careful handling. We’re committed to working alongside your vendors to ensure a cohesive look to your event.
  • What if an item I rented gets damaged during my event, or goes missing?
    Accidents can happen, and we understand that! Our pieces are built to last, but we also trust you to care for them during the rental period. If damage or loss occurs, we’ll assess the situation and charge accordingly for repairs or replacement, based on the severity of the issue.
